Centre Square Montessori Schoolhouse was founded in 1972 and is still owned and operated by Patricia A. McNicholas-Thomas. The campus is located on four acres of land on historic Skippack Pike in Blue Bell, PA. This unique schoolhouse and Toddler cottage were designed to be a part of the total Montessori experience for children.
The children have access to an environment that is rich in nature, animals and science. Each of our teachers is Montessori trained.
The majority of our staff has attained Master of Arts or Master of Education degrees. We have a certified reading specialist as well. Each classroom has teacher assistants, aides and/or student teachers to decrease student teacher ratios.
